Edwardian Sheraton Inlaid Mantel Clock
A top quality Edwardian fruitwood strung and Sheraton inlaid figured mahogany mantle clock with 8 day French movement, fully restored and working c.1910. The unusual tall Napoleon hat design case with moulded plinth base. The front of the case strung with fruitwood, Sheraton design shell sat below the dial. 8 day French movement with platform escapement sat behind a convex porcelain dial with Arabic numerals and blued steel hands. Matching convex bevelled edge glass mounted in a polished brass bezel sat over the top of the dial. Presented in immaculate condition, the movement fully overhaul...ed and working. Measures 10" wide x 3.5" deep x 9.25" high. Stock number 41318.
