Edwardian Scalloped Top Inlaid Mantel Clock
An Edwardian period figured mahogany inlaid scalloped top mantel clock c.1900. 8 Day French movement with platform escapement in full working order, sat behind a porcelain convex dial with Arabic numerals, matching convex glass set in a polished brass bezel over the top. Fruitwood oval panel inlay to the centre of the figured mahogany case, flanked by inlaid scrolls. Fine fruitwood stringing to the edge of the scalloped top case. Stands on brass bun feet. Full working order, and presented in superb condition with a rich colour and patina. Measures 6.25" wide x 3.25" deep x 9.25" h...igh. Stock number 38411.
