Edwardian Sampson Mordan Silver Whist Marker
An Edwardian period solid silver whist marker with weighted base and original bone marking disk, hallmarked Birmingham 1908. The circular weighted base with stepped rim to the edge and ships wheel style disk sat above at a tilted angle. View window to the outer edge to display the relevant symbol; the marker adjusted by revolving the wheel with a small handle set to the outer edge. Bears the makers mark for collected maker Sampson Mordan along with clear hallmarks. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 2" diameter at the base x 2" high.
