Edwardian Mantel Clock with Egg and Dart Cornice
A fine quality Edwardian Walker & Hall inlaid mahogany cased mantel clock with egg and dart decoration to the cornice c.1910. Moulded cornice with egg and dart carved boarder, shaped apron to the base with chamfered edge feet either side. Three panels of fruitwood and ebony stringing sat around the dial. Convex porcelain dial with Arabic numerals and blued steel hands set behind a convex glass set in a polished brass bezel. 8 day Paris made movement with platform escapement, fully serviced and working. Bears the retailers name for highly regarded silversmiths and retailers Walker &...amp; Hall, presented in immaculate condition. Measures 5.25" wide x 3.25" deep x 8" high. Stock number 40004.
