A superior quality Edwardian period solid mahogany tambour front filing cabinet with original file trays and lifting book rest to the top c.1910. Moulded edge to the solid mahogany lifting top, which can be set to various angles. The cabinet with fielded panel sides and fall front tambour cover with decorative cup handles, includes nine file trays, each taking A4 paper with ease. The nine drawer fronts with polished brass label holders, original brass lock escutcheon and working lock with key. Presented in excellent condition with a deep shi...ne and original patina.
