Edwardian Inlaid Mahogany Miniature Longcase Clock
A quality Edwardian inlaid solid mahogany miniature mantel top longcase clock with French 8 day movement c.1910. Architectural pediment to the top with dial sat below, the trunk with an oval figured mahogany panel with fruitwood stringing to the outer edge, complemented by chequered stringing to the outer edges of the case. Matching oval panel to the base with moulded foot and small polished brass bun feet below. The 8 day French movement with platform escapement sat behind a porcelain dial with Roman numerals and blued steel hands. Polished brass bezel with bevelled edge gla...ss window sat over the dial. Presented in immaculate condition, the movement fully overhauled and working. Measures 5.5" maximum width x 3.25" deep x 18" high. Stock number 41110.
