A high quality Edwardian period golden oak ship's barometer, made by Barker & Co Ltd, Kensington, fully restored and working c.1900. Silvered engraved dial with the weather predi...ctions and bearing the maker's name J Barker & Co Ltd, Kensington; specialist barometer and marine instrument maker. Polished steel ship's wheel style cast bezel surround with inset bevelled edge glass and centre reading marker. The solid gold oak turned oak case with brass hanging mounts to the top and bottom. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep polish and superb patina to the case, fully serviced and working. Measures 10" diameter x 3" deep x 11.5" high with fixings. Stock number 38961.
