A fine quality Edwardian turned and carved solid walnut lamp standard with original gilt relief, fully rewired ready for use c.1910. The reeded solid walnut column with decorative swags of carved a...nd gilded flowers to the top, carved acanthus leaf design gilded decoration to the mount above the tripod foot. The foot with reeded boss to the centre and three scroll design legs each with gilded flower head mounts and acanthus leaf gilt decoration to the ends. Presented in excellent original condition with a deep shine and original gilt finish to the carved decoration. Fully rewired ready for use with new switched brass lamp holder to the top, gold covered flex and fitted plug. Measures 63" high x 16" wide x 16" deep span at the foot. Stock number 39770.
