A quality Edwardian solid silver photo frame with decorative embossed swags, hallmarked Chester 1905. Broad silver surround embossed bow to the top and swags running down the sides of the frame. Th...e silver face returning around the sides to meet the original teal blue velvet back with sturdy easel stand. Bears the makers mark for highly regarded silversmiths James Deakin along with clear hallmarks. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine, the original velvet back serviceable but with some ware; as to be expected with this items age. Takes photograph 3.5" x 5.25". Measures overall 5" wide x 7" high. Stock number 41810.
