Solid figured oak top with moulded edges sat over a bank of nine A4 sized file drawers each with the original brass handle and label holder combination bearing the makers trademark for The Shannon File Company, London. Ledge to front with two pull out surface extensions and spacious double door cupboard below with central shelf. Moulded edges to the panelled sides, fielded edges to the drawers, moulded ...apron foot to the base.  The front with old sign written decoration for St John' s College Porters lodge, Cambridge, in excellent condition.
