An Edwardian burr yew mantel clock in Art Nouveau mushroom shape with 8 day French movement c.1900. The solid yew case formed in classic Art Nouveau stylised mushroom form, with burr yew veneers to the front and small Sheraton inlay below the dial; fruitwood stringing to the outer edge. Porcelain dial with Arabic numerals and blued steel hands set behind a bevelled edge glass mounted in a polished brass bezel. 8 day movement with platform escapement accessed from the rear for winding and adjustment of time.
