A superior quality Edwardian brass 8 day ships clock with centre seconds sweep c.1910. The heavy quality cast solid brass case with flange to the back for securing to the wall and hinged cast brass bezel forming the door. Quarter plate bevelled edge glass view window with original painted steel dial; Roman numerals and seconds divisions to the outer edge. Blued steel hands and red enamelled centre seconds sweep hand. 8 day movement with cylinder escapement in full working order. Fully overhauled movement and presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 10.5" diameter at rear ...x 7" dial x 4" deep. Stock number 38044.
