Edwardian Black Chinoiserie Mantel Clock
An Edwardian period Chinoiserie black lacquered 8 Day mantel clock c.1910. Styled in the form of a bracket clock with cushion top and moulded plinth foot, polished brass carrying handle set to the top. The black lacquered case decorated to the front and sides with Chinoiserie decoration, the edges with gilt finish. 8 day French movement sat behind a convex porcelain dial with matching bevelled edge glass set in a polished brass bezel. Full working order and presented in excellent original condition. Measures 6" wide x 3.5" deep x 9" high (including handle). Stock number... 38899.
