Edwardian Art Nouveau Planished Silver Photo Frame
An immaculate Edwardian period solid planished silver photo frame in the Art Nouveau style, hallmarked Birmingham 1907. Planished finish to the silver surround with oval cartouche to the top, the outer edge of the frame fashioned in the Art Nouveau style with curled under feet to the base. The domed silver face returning around the sides to meet the solid oak back with sturdy easel stand. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths S Blankensee & Sons along with clear hallmarks. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Takes photograph 3.5" x 5.25". Measures... overall 6" wide x 8.5" high. Stock number 40903.
