Early Victorian Yew Wood Windsor Chair

A superior early Victorian yew wood low back Windsor chair with figured ash seat and crinoline stretcher c.1840. Bent yew wood low back with fretted central splat and railed back, matching bent wood arm supports with turned front supports below. Moulded figured ash seat with four elegantly turned legs below supported by a crinoline stretcher. Superb original rich colour and polish, no damage or repairs, very sturdy and usable. Measures 36" high to top of chair back x 21" wide x 19" deep.  Seat height 16".  Stock number 39147.
