A fine quality early Victorian slim proportioned marine stick barometer and gimble by Walker of London C.1850. Slim polished mahogany case with rounded sides and flat front, hinged door to the top covering the bone vernier scale. Mercury action thermometer to the interior of the door. Brass securing loop to the top for fastening back when not in use and polished brass cistern cover to the base. Sat in the original hinged gimble, can be displayed sat back to the wall.
