Early Victorian Leather Barrel Back Arm Chair

An early Victorian period barrel back arm chair sat on an oak foot with superb old olive hide upholstery C.1860. Fluted barrel shaped back wrapping round to the wings with rolled over top edge. Scrolled over arms and loose seat cushion. Upholstered in good quality old dark olive coloured hide with brass stud work edges over original horse hair upholstery. Sat on a polished oak foot. Superb quality and condition with an excellent patina to the frame and leather. Very comfortable. Measures 47" high to top of the back x 29" maximum width x 25" deep x 22" seat height.
