A slim proportioned early Victorian mahogany stick barometer with engraved brass scale by Thomas Dunn of Edinburgh C.1850. The slim case with figured timbers and matching turned cistern cover to the base. Arched top with engraved brass scale below, vernier marker set to the side, mercury action barometer tube set to the centre and visible down the centre of the case. Bears the makers mark for Edinburgh barometer maker Thomas Dunn, working at this address from 1843 to 1863. Presented in superb original condition, fully serviced and working.
