Early Victorian Coromandel Writing Slope

An outstanding quality early Victorian coromandel writing slope with fine quality brass and mother of pearl inlays c.1850. The coromandel veneered exterior with sloping front and covered pen and ink compartment set across the back. The surfaces inlaid with finely detailed brass and mother of pearl decoration, Bramah lock and escutcheon to the rear section.
