Early Victorian Boxwood Country House Tea Caddy
An early Victorian boxwood country house tea caddy with later painted decoration depicting a Georgian town house c.1840. Square form with hinged lid and press button catch release, the lid with original sign written 'Tea' to the centre, the front and sides superbly later painted to depict a Georgian town house. The lid opening to reveal an original foil lined interior, superb original patina and colour. Presented in excellent condition. Measures 4" wide x 4" deep x 3.25" high. Stock number 39589.
