A fine quality early Victorian 8 day single fusee English dial clock with convex dial and A frame movement by Samuel Hunter, London c.1840. The mahogany case with slim moulded frame surrounding the dial, matching back box with side and base doors. 12" convex dial with original paintwork sat behind a matching convex glass sat in a cast brass bezel. The 8 day single fusee movement with anchor escapement and A frame plates; shaped back cock.
