Early Moorcroft Spanish Pattern Wide Flared Top Vase
An early Moorcroft Spanish pattern vase with wide flared top c.1914. Signed William Moorcroft to the base and stamped Burslem. Chrysanthemums and leaves decorated fully to the surround on an ochre ground. Yellows, soft reds and golden shades on an ochre ground. Matching decoration to the inner rim with chrysanthemums and foliage swept to the surround. Unusually wide vase with a flared neck top. Fully signed to the base. Measures 7" wide x 7" high.
