An early Moorcroft Pomegranate on ochre ground bowl signed William Moorcroft c.1912. The shallow bowl decorated to the interior with a continuous band of tube lined pomegranates set among...st leaves with berries either side. Matching band of berries to the exterior. The background painted in desirable ochre tones with the pomegranates decorated in rich Autumn reds. Signed in full to the base by William Moorcroft with no manufacturing impression indicating an early 1912 year of manufacture. Presented in perfect condition with no restoration or scratches. Measures 5.5" diameter x 2" high. Stock number 38916.
