Early Moorcroft Ochre Ground Pomegranate Vase
A superb early Moorcroft ochre ground pomegranate vase c.1914 -15. Squat design with short neck and rolled over rim. Decorated with a continuous band of eight tube lined pomegranates; three with open seeded fruits. Sat on the rare ochre ground with blue wash to the rim and foot. Impressions to the base include 'Moorcroft, Burslem, England' along with William Moorcrofts full signature in green. Superb quality decoration and presented in perfect condition with no damage or repairs. Measures 8" diameter x 7.5" high. Stock number 38330.
