Early Moorcroft Blue Pansy Vase
A rare early Moorcroft blue pansy vase with speckled ground signed William Moorcroft c.1915. The bottle shaped vase with short neck slightly flared at the top. Decorated with a continuous band of tube lined pansies painted in soft tones of blue with a speckled finish; blue-green leaves below with matching finish similar to as seen on Moonlit blue pieces. The background in rich dark blue, signed William Moorcroft to the base along with the Moorcroft factory impressions. Presented in perfect unrestored condition with no restoration, small firing mark to the rim. Measures 6" high x 3.25" max d...iameter. Stock number 38324.
