Early Georgian Penrith Cottage Longcase Clock

An Early Georgian oak cased cottage longcase clock.c.1730. Brass and silvered dial with ringed dummy winders and penny moon to the centre. Single pointer to the thirty hour movement striking on a bell to the hour. Made by Abraham Jacques of Eamont Bridge(Penrith). Turned pillars to the moulded cornice hood. Shaped top to the case door. Mid oak colour and patina. Slim proportions standing 77"high. Full working order. Stock no.29694.
