A small proportioned George I period oak three drawer dresser with geometric moulded drawer faces and a wonderful colour c.1720. Planked top sat over a moulded under edge, three drawers below with geo...metric moulded decoration and the centres with burr timbers, moulded apron below repeating the design of the upper moulding. Matching panelled ends. Sat on elegant turned legs with original feet, supported by a H stretcher. Brass swan neck fittings with early design back plates and matching lock escutcheons. Superb original colour and patina. Measures 59" long x 19.5" deep x 32" high. Stock number 36934.
