Davis of London Steel Case Marine Barometer
A quality large Victorian steel cased marine barometer by Davis of London and Derby with engraved silvered dial, fully serviced and working c.1880. The burnished steel case with original patina, small rim to the front holding the cast polished brass bezel with central reading marker, fine quality engraved silvered dial sat behind. Bears the makers name Davis & Son, London & Derby, noted instrument makers, in particular for the mining and marine industries. The aneroid movement fully serviced and working, presented in excellent original condition. Measures 9.75" diamet...er x 3" deep. Stock number 39419.
