A late Victorian oil on canvase by well regarded artist Daniel Sherrin, sat in the original timber gilt frame C.1900. Known for his studies of Suffolk and Norfolk, this well painted oil on canvas depicting the summer harvest ' Golden Grain' inscribed on the rear by the artist. Colourful, detailed and well painted. Sat in the original timber gilt frame in superb condition. Signed by the artist to the bottom right. Daniel Sherrin 1868 - 1940, born in Brentwood, notably produced a commissioned work for King George V painting his country estate, Sandringham House; a work that hangs today in Bu...ckingham palace. He also designed recruitment postersduring the 1st world war, today these works are archived in the imperial war museum. Measures 41" wide x 31" high overall. Canvas size 29" wide x 19" high.
