A top quality Edwardian brass cased industrial thermometer by Creed of Liverpool c.1910. Heavy gauge brass back plate with lip to each side to protect the thermometer, carrying handle to the top. Engr...aved with a scale from zero to 410f, original mercury action thermometer set to the centre with protection cage covering the thermometer cistern cover. Bears the makers name Creed, Liverpool. Originally used in industry or for cooking. Presented in excellent condition and in full working order. Measures 15.5" long x 2.25" wide x 0.5" deep. Stock number 38519.
