Christopher Dresser Design Silver Salad Servers
A pair of Victorian solid silver art Nouveau style salad servers in the manner of Dr Christopher Dresser, hallmarked Birmingham 1901. Each heavy quality solid silver server with wavy curled over rim, the handles with riveted fixing tapering slightly towards the top; rolled over end to each. Each bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths Heath & Middleton (later Hukin & Heath) manufacturers to Christopher Dresser along with clear hallmarks. Collectable items and these are unusual as they are solid silver rather than the usual plated silver, both presented in immacul...ate condition. Each measures 2.25" wide at the bowl x 0.5" wide at the end of the handle x 10.75" long. Stock number 41374.
