Chick Pin Cushion by Sampson Mordan
A superbly detailed silver chick pin cushion by collected maker Sampson Mordan c.1900-25. The solid silver base formed in the style of a sitting chick with superb embossed and engraved detailed decoration. The back of the chick inset with the original mossy yellow velvet pad forming the pin cushion. Bears the makers mark and register number for highly regarded and collected maker Sampson Mordan. The chick has no hallmarks so has been tested and confirmed as silver (as expected with Sampson Mordan items). Presented in good condition with a deep shine. Measures 1.5" long x 1" wide... x 1.25" high. Stock number 40288.
