A quality George V period embossed solid silver photo frame, hallmarked Chester 1912. Swept sides and foot with arched pediment to the top. Beaded outer edge and matching decoration to the edge of the photo window, floral daisy chain decoration running the centre. Mounted on a polished mahogany back with sturdy easel stand. Bears the makers mark for Chester silversmiths J & R Griffin. Takes photo 5" x 7". Measures over all 7.5" wide x 9.5" high. Stock number 37996.
