Brook and Son's Edinburgh Silver Blotter
A solid silver blotter with cast knob retailed by Brook & Sons, Edinburgh with rubbed Edinburgh hallmark c.1920. Oblong form with silver panel to the top and rounded mahogany base, removable cast silver knob to the top. The knob unscrewing and the silver top panel lifting off to secure the blotting paper onto the mahogany base. Engraved to the end Brook & Sons, 87 George St, Edinburgh along with rubbed Edinburgh hallmark and silver Lion standard to the knob. Presented in good condition with a deep shine. Measures 4.5" long x 2.5" wide x 2.25" high. Stock number 40940.
