An impressive oil on board by highly regarded artist Brian Sheilds C.1976. Depicting a bustling street scene on a late autumn day with industrial landscape in the background set behind a tree lined road. Dozens of figures painted in true Braaq style in the foreground with a cart selling its wares set to the centre, the artist depicted at the cart in his customary striped jumper ! Superb depth and rich sunset colours to the sky. Signed by the artist to the bottom right. Presented in a quality black timber and silver gilt contemporary frame.
