Atkinson Lancaster 2 Pint Bottle Tantalus
A top quality Victorian oak and brass trimmed two bottle tantalus with original pint sized cut crystal decanters, retailed by Atkinson of Lancaster c.1885. Figured oak frame with shaped sides, cast brass locking bar to the top with carrying handle; working lock and catch to the side with key. The two original larger than normal pint sized decanters with hobnail cut design and matching stoppers, both in mint condition. Bears the manufacturers name Betjemann's to one side along with the retailers name R Atkinson, Lancaster (Jewellers). Presented in immaculate condition with a deep s...hine and original patina with perfect crystal ware. Measures 10" wide x 5.5" deep x 13" high including handle. Stock number 39046.
