Aspreys Brass Inlaid Edwardian Mantel Clock
A fine quality Edwardian fiddle back mahogany petal shaped mantel clock with brass inlays by Asprey's, London c.1900. The fiddle back mahogany petal shaped case with brass strung edges and inlaid with brass below the dial; small brass bracket feet to the base. The 8 day Paris made movement with platform escapement sat behind a convex porcelain dial with Roman numerals and blued steel hands. Stamped Asprey to the base along with serial number. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine, the movement fully overhauled and working. Measures 5.5" wide x 3" deep x 9.5" high. Stock number... 41319.
