A fine quality solid cast silver photo frame with enamelled clover leaf boss to the top in the Art Nouveau style, hallmarked Birmingham 1923. The heavy quality solid cast silver frame with swept foot ...and bowed sides, peaked top above. Oval glazed view window to the centre. Decorated domed enamelled boss to the top with green clover leaf set against a bright blue ground. Solid oak inset back set in a cast silver rim with sturdy easel stand. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths Joseph Gloster Ltd. Takes photo 3.5" wide x 5" high. Measures over all 7.5" high x 5" wide. Stock number 38057.
