Antique William and Mary Style Walnut Framed Hall Bench.
An unusual high quality William and Mary style walnut hall bench with upholstered lifting seat. C.1900. Eight barley twist legs to the moulded edge base sat on turned feet with concealed castors. Upholstered seat recovered in Abraham Moon pure wool fabric, that lifts allowing the interior to be used as a stick stand or luggage stand. Superb condition. Measures 36" long x 15" deep x 19" high.
