A superb quality Victorian antique carved oak case barometer with engraved silvered scale and crescent thermometer C.1885. Domed turned case with carved daisy chain design outer boarder and dished inn...er edge with small carved spheres decorating the case. Aneroid movement in full working order sat behind an engraved silvered scale with crescent thermometer, bears the makers name, Skinner of Leamington. Bevelled edge glass with polished brass bezel and centre reading marker. Fully restored. Measures 12.25" diameter x 2.25" deep. Stock number 34268.
