Antique Silver & Tortoiseshell Jewel Box
A George V period solid silver and tortoise shell jewellery box with original velvet lined interior, hallmarked Birmingham 1918. Bowed front and matching back with hinged top inset with a well figured tortoise shell panel in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Sat on small decorative feet. Lip to the front to aid opening, opens to reveal an original velvet and silk lined interior in good condition. Bears the makers mark for well regarded maker Levi and Salaman. No damage or repairs. Measures 5" wide x 3.25" deep at widest point x 2" tall. Stock number 34383.
