A quality Antique Persian hand knotted pure wool runner from the Hamadan area of Persia c.1900. Soft red background with medallion to the centre and interlinked geometric floral design decoration to the main section in tones of black, fawn and pinks. Double border to the outer edge with fawn background and geometric decoration. Close deep hand knotted pile in excellent stain free used condition, newly cleaned ready for use.
