A top quality Victorian Antique oil on canvas 'Capel Curig, North Wales' by highly regarded artist William Mellor c.1900. Painted in classic Mellor style with sheep grazing under the shade of trees by a mountain stream. Excellent colours with good depth, no repairs or damage. Signed to the bottom left by the artist and inscribed on the rear by the artist 'Mountain Stream Near Capel Curig, North Wales' Presented in a quality swept timber gilt frame. Measures over all 30" wide x 23" high x 2" deep. Stock number CS28.
