A superior quality Antique carved oak rope twist edge ships barometer with porcelain dial and crescent thermometer C.1880. Decorative porcelain dial to the aneroid movement with original crescent shaped mercury action thermometer. Sat behind a glazed front sat in a polished brass bezel and centre reading marker. Solid oak polished rope twist edge design surround with superb colour and polish. Fully overhauled movement. Measures 9" diameter x 2.25" deep. Stock number 34359.
