A quality antique mid Victorian solid oak pedestal desk with original brass fittings and superb leathered writing surface. C1870. Moulded outer edge with inset antique tan leather hide writing surface...; tooled gilt edge. Three drawers across the top, and three graduated drawers to each pedestal. Sat on an apron foot with concealed castors underneath. Polished panelled back for free standing. Excellent condition with a good even colour and polish. Measures 48" wide x 28" deep x 29" high. Knee hole measures 20" wide x 23" high. Stock number 34138.
