A superb quality Edwardian inlaid mahogany cased desktop thermometer C1910. Turned weighted base supporting the arched top polished mahogany backboard with ebony and boxwood strung edge to match the base. Bone scale with original alcohol action mounted with brass straps and matching reservoir guard. Bears the makers name F.W. Sturt, Tunbridge Wells. Full working order and immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 3.25" diameter at the base x 11.25" high. Stock number 35108.
