An antique Early Victorian solid oak hinged top box with painted decoration depicting a period country house c.1840. Solid oak with moulded edge to the hinged top, brass carry handle to the sides and ...working lock and key. The hinged top with original forged iron hinges, opens to green baize interior with a removable tray to the top. The patinated exterior superbly hand painted to depict a Georgian country house. Presented in excellent condition with a deep shine. Measures 16" wide x 12" deep x 16" high. Stock no.36755.
