An Antique tortoiseshell Chinioserie mantel clock.c.1910. Convex gilded dial and brass bezel surround. 8 Day French movement in full working order. Oriental gilt scenes to the tortoiseshell sides and front. Bone stringing to the edges and splayed bracket feet. Retailed by A & J Smith of Aberdeen. Rosewood back. Very unusual. Small proportions measuring 6" x 3.5" x 6"high.
