Antique Carved Mahogany Revolving Stool
A quality Victorian antique decorative carved mahogany base rise and fall stool C.1870. Tripod foot sat around the turned and carved centre with an acanthus leaf design. Mahogany moulded edge platform to the rise and fall revolving seat, with brass mechanism. Original horse hair upholstery recovered in Abraham Moon pure wool fabric. Superb condition with original patina. Measures 19" high, rises to 24" high. Seat 14" diameter. Base maximum width 18". Stock number 28743.
