A Victorian period carved bone obelisk desk top thermometer under glass dome C.1880. Turned and lathe carved base with tapering column above forming an obelisk shaped column. Original mercury action t...hermometer on engraved bone scale to the front. Sat under the original removeable glass dome. Full working order, immaculate condition with no discoloration. Measures 9" high x 2" diameter at the base. Stock number 35136.
